GYA Lipton Interclub Challenge, BWYC - Aug 31-Sep 2, 2013

BAY ST. LOUIS - In very tight competition Bay-Waveland Yacht Club edged out Pass Christian Yacht Club to win the 2013 Lipton Regatta. For the past ten years, one or the other of those clubs has sailed to victory in the regatta. Four points out of first place, New Orleans Yacht Club finished third and Southern finished fourth, one point behind New Orleans.  It was a perfect weekend with the weather cooperating for fair sailing.  There were spectator boats from many GYA clubs and Bay-Waveland put on a great event for the crowd.
