FALL CRUISE, Oct 27-28

We plan on leaving the SYC harbor entrance at 1000 hrs and cruise directly to Madisonville where we will raft along the "Wall" south of the bridge. We have reservations at Friends Restaurant for dinner that evening. Since this is Halloween weekend we will have a costume contest at dinner so be prepared. Some boats may want to get a head start and go over on Fri. the 26th.

OTHER EVENTS

On Wednesday, Aug 29, 2012 the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Assoc. will celebrate the re-lighting of the new Lighthouse at 2000 hrs at West End. Let's meet at SYC at 1800 hrs for a social hour and go out as a fleet to help celebrate with horns and lights blaring.

We decided to have quarterly fleet meetings. The next meeting will be on Nov. 6, 2012 at 1800 hrs at SYC.

Our Spring 2012 rendezvous at Scott Chotin's home was a huge success thanks to Scott's hospitality. If we behave ourselves we might receive another invitation for a repeat next Spring. Stay tuned for more info.
