SYC Women Finish 2nd at the 74th Annual GYA Knost Regatta
 The 2011 SYC Knost Team headed over to Pass Christian Yacht Club on August 6th & 7th and raced in light and variable winds with very high heat warnings in effect. After a tough battle, the team finished in 2nd overall just one point behind Buccaneer Yacht Club. Clerc Cooper, Debby Willits and Katy Lovell were skippers with crew Jeanne Herman, Caroline Wade, Forrest Richards, Jodi Weinbecker, and Team Captain Pam Brierre. The team is pictured with a newly donated trophy which is awarded to the winner of the final race of the regatta. Special thanks to coaches and support boat operators Johnny Lovell and Daniel Meade and to the Reverend Jean Meade for providing housing.
