SYC Teams Win Big in Regata al Sol XXVII |

SYC's Bob Hughes & Howard Leach, on their Beneteau 49, LADY GRAY, won Cruising Class A and the Cruising Division overall with the fastest corrected time. Meanwhile, Steve and Stephen Murray’s new Carkeek 40, DECISION, won the Racing Division. Their respective navigators, Mike Guiza and Al Gooch helped navigate them to victory. Other SYC teams doing well: Scott Bickford’s CONTINGENCY finished second in Cruising A with Ace Torre’s HAWKE in fourth, in Cruising B, Vic Oliver’s PATRIOT finished second and Doug Slakey’s MAKANI UI was third.
