If you believe those crazy Mayans, the end of the world is just around the corner. Aren’t these the same folks that practiced human sacrifice???? Hmmmmmm! Anyway, if you choose to buy into all that end of the world stuff, what better way to face the end of life as we know it than partying with friends at your club? Why not stop by the Club on Friday the 21st and countdown to oblivion with the adult beverage of your choice with good friends? And keep this in mind, if the world does implode or explode or another planet crashes into us or a super-volcano erupts probably in Yellowstone National Park, we’ll give you a little extra time to pay you bill next month. So, stop by the Club Friday and let’s party like there’s no tomorrow. And then, stay and enjoy your potentially last meal as well. Reservations for Armageddon are encouraged.
As the scope of the devastation continues to grow in the northeast, we can certainly empathize with all those affected and wish for a speedier recovery for them than we have experienced in New Orleans. This weekend we host the Southern Soiland Cup, with teams from the area hit the hardest by Sandy. Thank you for joining us this weekend.
Later this month, we host the USODA Optimist Midwinter Regatta, created and first hosted by SYC twenty-eight years ago. Parents in New Jersey and New York want to send their young sailors to compete, even as they clean up their homes.
